Project
The possibilities of
this software are widened continuously. In many points, it outbids
everything until now. Especially the multi-protocol-ability and
the compatibility to all current AX.25-protocols, this new software
lifts up of the many islands - and special-solutions radio for packed
radio.

Some
information about using TCP/IP with Flexnet
The goals and outcome
of a project to optimize TCP/IP transport over the FlexNet AX.25
network is described. A number of optimizations, and their implementations,
are described and discussed. These include header compression, resend
minimization, packet age tracking and ACK consolidation, as well
as platform considerations and potential uses.

Equipment for a PC/FlexNet-Digi
Typical PC/Flexnet-Digi
site consist of a PC with multi serial ports connected via serial
cables to tnc's running a special KISS EPROM called 6pack. FlexNet
is a polling system with a configuration rule that must be followed
to insure proper operation.
